We are exactly one week away from Christmas!! Who else is incredibly excited/rushed to get everything done? I am a little stressed because I leave town on Friday to fly to Colorado for a quick getaway and haven’t finished sending cards/gifts out or even thought about packing yet. I have been procrastinating really bad and totally hitting myself for putting everything off till the last minute. Oh well nothing I can do now haha!
With Christmas just days away I find myself reaching for every tartan or red I can find in my closet! I definitely associate tartan with a classic Christmas. While having all white & gold everything for Christmas is really beautiful, I am much more of a red and green lover with plaid or tartan. Bows wrapped around gifts always have tartan prints on them in my house and I absolutely love a good tartan blanket draped over the couch in the winter.
This tartan top from Red Dress Boutique is so warm and cozy! I chose to pair with this vest because I didn’t want to hide the beautiful detail of the tartan. Blizzard (my dog) had his own tartan jacket so I threw that on him so we could match:) Nothing like matching with your dogy haha;)
