Colors Of Neutral

Jacket: SheIn // Turtleneck: Halogen // Jeans: Levi’s // Pumps: Steve Madden // Belt: Ann Taylor // Bag: Kate Spade // Earrings: Kendra Scott

We are back today with a fun all things neutral look for the winter/spring! There is such an awkward phase between New Years and the start of spring, where no one knows what exactly to wear or style. Do you still wear colors from Christmas? Or do you start bringing in spring colors? I have found colors of neutral to be my answer to this question. Neutrals are my go to when I am grabbing basic pieces like this turtleneck top or a long jacket. They tend to go with most anything so I find lately that is what I have been gravitating towards.

It has been so chilly here in Dallas during the morning and then halfway through the day it hits almost 60 degrees… dressing for this weather is super hard! I have had this neutral jacket tucked in my car for the past couple weeks as my go to for chilly mornings. It is from SheIn and is a great price too! I don’t love to spend tons of money on jackets that only last me a couple weeks here in Dallas.

On another note, who else is ready for spring?? I have been searching around for what will be the newest trend for spring of 2018 and I can not wait to share all the goodies I have found:) (Unfortunately, it is way to cold to be styling them now) Hopefully by the end of next month we will have some warmer whether!

Thank you for stopping by my little place:)

Traveling In Style

75 Spinner: Lipsault Paris [c/o] // 55 Spinner: Lipsault Paris [c/o] // Sweater: H&M // Leggings: BP. // Boots: Uggs // Scarf: Free People

This is my last post of 2017!! It is really fitting because 2018 is going to bring some very exciting adventures and trips all over the place:) Even though I am excited for 2018, 2017 was a whole whirlwind of airports and flight after flight. For the first part of 2017 (till May) I was traveling every week to different Universities as a consultant. I would love to say I always traveled in style but lets be honest, that rarely ever happened haha. My go to outfit for traveling was leggings, tennis shoes, long sleeve and a cardigan. I swear I have piles of cardigans that I accumulated from traveling. Needless to say I was not the most fashionable person on the plane. The one thing I wish I had were these suitcases to add some style to my travel look!

Lipsault Paris has the cutest/stylish travel sets! The spinners were my favorite but they have other styles that come in so many different colors. These are hard casing suitcases so there isn’t much wiggle room but they offer soft casing suitcases as well!

I absolutely adore the rose gold look of these suitcases and think they are so feminine. Finding suitcases that are durable and cute is not easy at all. This past weekend I traveled over the Christmas holiday and got to try them out… the verdict is… AMAZING! Other spinner suitcases I have tried the handles were loose so when you tried to push it would feel awkward and uncomfortable. I love that you can lock your suitcase as well. If for some reason it ever got lost no one could just get in and take items. It was very roomy inside and they are super light weight too!

I wanted to say one last thank you for following along. In my wildest dreams did I think this place would grow this much over the past year. I will be taking a full week off next week but after I will have so much great content for you guys! Next week I will be going to a place I have never been before and will be sharing all the fun on my Instagram throughout my trip! So be sure to follow along HERE🙂

Planning For 2018

Monogramed Planner: Graphic Images [c/o] // Pen: Graphic Images [c/o] // Sweater: Goodnight Macaroon // Boots: Red Dress Boutique // Tote: Barrington Gifts // Earrings: Lisi Lerch

For me there is no time like the present to start planning ahead! We all know that I am a huge planner so I like to get a head start on planning 2018:) It is so crazy to think that another year is just around the corner. But I am very excited to see what a new year brings!

Right before the new year, I love to get a cute new planner that I will have for the rest of the year. Might sound weird but I actually keep all my planners from years past to look back on everything I have done throughout the years. This blush monogrammed planner is one of my favorites this far! I found Graphic Images through Instagram and fell in love with not only the style of the planner but the layout inside (oh and the Monogram on the front!).

The inside of the Graphic Images planners contains a monthly calendar and then a weekly hourly calendar. These are my favorite because I have to plan out my days hourly but I can also jot down big events on the monthly calendar. I have tried multiple different types of planners from weekly calendars and just daily calendars but I find these so hard to depict what I am doing during what time.

To start filling out my planner, I open up my old planner and go through each month and find things that are recurring again this year… i.e. Birthdays, Holidays, etc. I write them down on the monthly calendar so I don’t forget about them. Then I go through and put my school schedule on the hourly calendar so I block those times off each day. After that I go through and fill in new events that will be happening in the new year… i.e. Weddings, Vacations, Big Events.

Something about starting the year off really organized always gets me very excited! I can not wait to bring each of you on a journey with me through 2018 and hopefully create some really fun content for you all:)
