I love your outfits! I have been looking on pinterest for outfit inspiration and came across your blog. I am starting graduate school this fall, and I am feeling overwhelmed about creating a versatile, business casual wardrobe on a budget. What pieces in your closet do you find staple? I also live in Minnesota, so most of the year is freezing cold! That’s why I am so far back in time on here, haha.

Hey! So glad you found my blog:) First off, congrats on getting into Grad school! Second, yes building a work wear closet can get overwhelming. I would say to start with the basics. So make sure you have a good black blazer and fitting black pants in your closet. Then from there I started to branch out into different blouse options. Then moved on to adding in navy blazers and navy pants. You can never go wrong with having at least a black blazer and black pants in your closet. Also for grad school I bought one good suit. Macy’s is a great place to look for these. I haven’t worn my suit since grad school but you really never know when you will need it. It’s one of those things that if you have it you don’t wear it but if you don’t have it you wish you did. Other than that it takes time to build up work wear. Don’t feel like you need to have all these different outfits right away! You will find after a while your work wear section becomes your biggest section in your closet haha. Hope this is helpful:)
