Continuing the “Top Ten for 2021” theme for this week with Top Ten Most Liked Items from 2021! I went through all the purchases from this past year and rounded them up into this post. Most are workwear related which I was really excited to see! I love that you are into workwear as much as I am. This year I saw a lot more interest in workwear staples so I will be focusing on creating more content around these items in the new year!
#1 MOST LIKED ITEM
The number one sold item from this past year is this J.Crew Sweater Blazer! Honestly, would have this in every color because it’s a great option for most work environments. I wear this all the time when working from home because it looks professional and put together with a tshirt underneath or a blouse. It is on the pricey side, definitely look out for their sales, but it’s a staple and one that will last you many years!
#2 MOST LIKED ITEM
If there were a pair of work pants that I had to pick out of my closet and wear for the rest of my career, it would be these! I am glad to see many of you also grabbed these throughout the year. I talked Spanx all year long because I really do love them. They are fitted in the right areas, feel like leggings and have great tummy control in the front! All things I look for in a pair of work pants. If I am being honest, trying to style these for a formal work environment might be hard but for most other environments these work wonders!
#3 MOST LIKED ITEM
In my workwear closet, I have a number of blazers. Many are colorful and fun. But when it comes to a staple, you want something that is going to be easy to style over and over again. Besides going with a black blazer, I have been highly recommending this J.Crew blazer all year long! It’s the perfect fit, in terms of sleeve length, fitting through the waist and the overall feel of the blazer. It’s not too heavy for a wool blazer as I have worn it throughout all seasons! It is an investment but well worth it!!

This year I really dove into the sneaker trend! I invested in a few sneakers that I could wear casually for the weekends or for work. These Veja Campo sneakers were a hit not only for me but also with you! The neutral color goes well for the summer or the winter. The shoe is pretty comfy as well. They are professional enough to style at work with work pants, skirts or even a dress!

These were a hit during the Nordstrom sale! I have loved having them for the fall and winter. They keep your feet pretty warm and they are pretty trendy right now. When I first got them I was worried that they weren’t really my style. But I have grown to love them a lot! They go with jeans or leggings with oversized sweaters beautiful!

Pretty sure I shared this bag at least once a week this past year so I would have been pretty sad if this didn’t make the top ten! I can’t rave about it enough as a beautiful work bag. You can fit a laptop, iPad, wallet, chargers, etc. inside and it looks so polished! It can be carried as either a bag on your arm, over your shoulder or even as a backpack. I love how versatile it is and the quality of the fabric is long lasting, even with a lot of wear!

A great staple sweater that will carry you through the fall and the winter! I have styled it casually with jeans and styled it with work pants, straight and flared. It’s a very classy sweater that isn’t too oversized either. I love the higher neck on this sweater as well! It’s not a cowl neck or a turtleneck but this in between style. Loved seeing some of you all style this sweater as well!

There are not many workwear skirts that I love, but this one takes the cake! To me, I would rather wear this slip skirt than a pencil skirt. It’s flowy, loose, chic and goes below your knee! Pencil skirts tend to be restricting, tight and sometimes too short. The material of this J.Crew skirt is really good too. The material isn’t too thick but not too thin. I love to wear it throughout the summer with a blouse or a blazer!

This bodysuit is so good, I bought 3 of them haha! I have it in this nude color, black and white. When it says “contouring”, it really means contouring! The material is double layered so you don’t have to worry about it being see through or exposing too much. It’s such a great staple to have to wear under things like blazers, sweaters, tops, etc. I have even worn it out with jeans and it looks like a tank!

Saved the best for last:) I have loved my Barrington Gift bags for many years! They are fun to customize and make your own. It makes me so happy that many of you have your own! They are a great travel bag, work bag, or just an all around daily bag. It’s so roomy which means it’s easy to throw a bunch of stuff in it. I have a few of their clear pouches that I use to help organize and a laptop case that slides right into the bag!
