The Perfect Wrap Coat

Wrap Coat: Ann Taylor // Pants: Spanx // Heels: Sam Edelman // Tote: Barrington Gifts

We might be over the holidays and into the new year but winter isn’t over yet! How to wrap up warm to commute to work is still a topic I have received many questions about. Finding a good coat that is stylish, warm, versatile can be challenging. There are so many options in colors and styles to choose from. The perfect option for me has been a wrap coat this winter season!

This grey wrap coat from Ann Taylor is a staple in my closet and one that goes with just about anything work wear related. Grey is a great professional color to have especially in outerwear. You can style it over those go to professional outfits in black, blue or brown. This particular one has the most beautiful detail of herringbone pattern woven into it. Adding that extra little detail.

I find wrap coat’s to be extremely flattering. I struggle with oversized fitted items because my torso is so short. With pieces that don’t hug certain areas I tend to look like I have a garbage bag over me. The wrap coat offers a belt that wraps around the waist to really hug onto those hips. Which shows off a more feminine side of the whole outfit.

If you are looking for more coat options other than wrap coats, I did a full blog post HERE with tons of different styles! Be sure to check it out:)

Below, I have found a couple more affordable wrap coats from incredible brands such as Ralph Lauren, Nordstrom, etc. There are tons of new year sales going on right now so there is plenty of opportunity to snag a more expensive wrap coat for cheap!
