It is finally Friday! I could honestly scream and shout because I am so excited haha. There isn’t even much going on this weekend but I am so pumped to sit around and do nothing:) Between friends coming in town and traveling, I don’t even feel like my weekends have been my little break time! So this weekend I told myself I am doing nothing haha. I love being busy but its good for the soul to take a break sometimes:)

Okay now that I rambled on, lets get to this fun off the shoulder dress! I was walking through the mall and decided to stop in Forever 21 (which I never do because the store gives me major anxiety! Anyone else?) when I came across this olive green off the shoulder dress! Jeremy was on the phone with me so I told him how cute it was but it was olive green so I didn’t think I was going to get it. Now, I am one who loves the color olive green because it goes so well for redheads but I always found it to be a fall color. I put it down and continued browsing but didn’t find anything I liked. I kept walking back over to it and telling Jeremy how much I loved it. Pretty sure he got sick of hearing me say it so many times, he was like “would you buy it already?!?”.

I believe the olive green dress was only $20 so I thought what the heck, let’s try it out! I am always up for a challenge when styling something not in season. Browns are my go to any season so adding in lighter summery browns to an olive green look was where I started. I added my hair up for a summery feel and some big sunnies. I loved the off the shoulder look a lot this summer and having your hair up really shows on your shoulders more! (Remember in high school when you had dress code that couldn’t show off your shoulders? haha guess they are sexy or something!) Plus in this 106 degree weather my hair normally ends up in a bun on the top of my head away!
