If you have been around for a while then you will have read that I am not a huge fan of all black for work. I love to bring in pops of color to bring out my personality and add a little bit of fun to any work outfit. I do realize though that an all black outfit is so effortless and something that doesn’t require much thought in the morning.
But something I hadn’t considered until the other day was this idea of an all grey look. It occurred to me that I have never tried a all grey work outfit till I saw someone on Pinterest (where I get a lot of my inspiration!) looking very chic! Immediately I got online and started to do some shopping from my go-to work places to see what options they had.
A challenge I realized quickly with grey was that it comes in many different shades and finding everything to be the exact same shade wouldn’t be possible. I decided to grab a sweater that was a little bit darker, a pair of lighter pants and then this shawl that was super light grey to bring out the sweater. I ended up loving how the different shades really played off of each other.
For those that don’t know I end up traveling for work at least once a month. Having an easy travel outfit is a must for me and this is one I would definitely style through the airport. A great shawl to stay warm on those chilly planes and then sneakers to run through the airport!
