Currently writing this blog post in the 6 hour car ride we have back from our weekend getaway. We headed up to a lake in Arkansas with Jeremy’s family and the views were absolutely stunning! But unfortunately I had not anticipated how cold it was going to be haha. Jeremy goes “Imagine that Hannah not packing for the weather **rolls eyes”. In my defense, when I looked at the temperature it said the low was 40… it got to 25 degrees at night so I was very chilly! Other than that tiny issue the weekend was so nice to get away and relax.
With not packing for the weather, I ended up having to layer a lot of clothing! This look was suppose to be two different outfits but ended up being one so I could stay warm haha. I absolutely love the fall preppy look with duck boots or hunter boots, a J.Crew vest and a sweater underneath. The green and blue complimented the beautiful changing colors so well and I didn’t take that chunky knit beanie off all weekend haha!
I wish I could have brought all the beautiful colored leaves we had over the weekend back to Dallas! It really felt like fall being up there! Hope everyone else had a colorful weekend:)
