It’s December which means we are officially in party season! Ton’s of opportunities to wear sparkles and plaid galore. But what does one find appropriate/acceptable for an office holiday party?
For me that would mean bringing out work pants and a nice top but adding a twist to it! For example, this top without the plaid would be a regular work top and these pants without the velvet would be just work pants. It might sound over the top but adding in holiday trends (velvet or plaid) can really liven up a work look to be fun for the holidays.
If this outfit is a bit too bold then you could always ton it back by just picking one trend to either the velvet pants with a cute black blouse or the plaid top with a black skirt with tights! Options here are endless but I want to encourage you to step out of black on black that everyone goes to for holiday parties.
