Guide To Fall Wedding Guest Dress

Happy #weddingwednesday! I haven’t done a wedding blog post in a long time. Honestly after ours got postponed till early next year, I kind of stopped planning. I think I stressed myself out so much right before the wedding that it had me anxious to want to start again. But the other day I went and tried on my wedding dress for the first time since the pandemic hit and it got me really excited! So I thought I would pick back up on these blog post series to help those of you who are heading to a wedding or planning for a wedding soon!

lthough weddings are looking a little bit different right now, I still see people still dressing up to make the day feel extra special. A number of people had requested I put together a list of fall wedding guest dresses for upcoming events!

I think the fall is one of the best times to have a wedding and had our circumstances been different I think we would have loved to get married in the fall. It’s right when the days are starting to get chilly at night but not too chilly for a full coat. I love throwing on longer dresses with short sleeves during this time of year. The dress gives more coverage but isn’t overwhelming!

This particular wedding guest dress I wore the other weekend to our good friends wedding and it was absolutely perfect!! It’s so elegant and glows beautifully when walking. I loved the waist being tighter but the overall dress being a little looser. Also the colors of the dress I was really drawn too. Navy’s, greens and even burnt oranges can be a beautiful guest wedding dress color to choose in the fall. My tip to making sure I don’t look like one of the bridesmaids is to add floral print (or really any print). A solid navy and blush are 9 times out of 10 a bridesmaid colors so adding a print of some sort helps make the dress not look like a bridesmaid dress!

Below I put together some of my other favorite wedding guest dresses for you to pick from:)
