Recently I have gotten into this new trend of a blazer-coat! Kind of like a 2 for 1 deal where you get a coat that keeps you warm but a blazer style that could be worn all day. For us southerners who rarely see snow or extreme cold temperatures, this is a great compromise to wearing a full on coat. This particular blazer-coat from J.Crew is light weight and great for throwing over a sweater or a blouse. It could be taken off once at the office but since it’s not a full on coat it can be kept on as more of a blazer style. This is perfect for not having to layer a blazer under a coat!
I personally really love how professional the blazer-coat looks with black work pants. When I was heading into the office during the winter, a go to for me was always a light sweater with work pants. You can keep it simple or layer the sweater with a blazer over the top depending on your work environment.
