Add A Sweater Vest To Your Workwear

Sweater vests are everywhere this fall season! Even though sweater vests are very “trendy” item, I wanted to take it and style it appropriately for workwear. It’s easy to get lost styling the same “workwear” look over and over again… blazer, work pants and a blouse. Switching things up a bit with your workwear is a great way to boost some energy and confidence! This sweater vest workwear look takes something you may wish you could wear day to day and makes it actually something you can wear!

Last year sweater vest were becoming more and more a thing again. I grabbed the one I am styling here from H&M last fall but only really wore it with jeans. This year with them coming back in style I thought let’s try making it work appropriate. I love the length of this one and how it doesn’t have a deep v in the front. The shorter sweater vest options could also work as long as you put something underneath it. For this look I went with boot cut work pants that were straight legged and gave me longer legs. A couple months back I did the same sweater vest and button up with spanx work pants that looked similar to leggings. Which is another great option for styling a sweater vest at work! I have linked some additional options below and I have linked the whole outfit below as well.

Love this post. We definitively started seeing sweater vests last winter but I feel like they are making a bigger entrance this year. Even though I’ve never been into vests these ones may have a space in my closet. They can be styled with items that we all have and they can make a very simple outfit look different.
