If there was one piece of advice I could give about workwear, it would be to invest in staples. It’s the foundation of your workwear wardrobe and will be for years to come. I went through my closet the other day and picked out pieces that I consider my top staples. Just so happens that they were all J.Crew pieces!! I thought I would round up them on the blog and share them with you. Hopefully it’s helpful to have these staple pieces in your closet to build on over time!
J.CREW WORK PANT LOOK:
The Cameron Slim Crop Pant are my favorite work pants! I have a couple pairs of these and they are a great staple to build your workwear closet on. You can style them formally with a blazer or dress them down with a cardigan. The fit is perfect, slim in the waist to give you a figure but looser through the legs for a comfy fit all day.

J.CREW WORK SKIRT LOOK:
To be a little bit more feminine, I love adding in skirts! I love something a little looser that is below my knee to keep it modest and work appropriate. This black satin skirt is a great start to bringing in dainty pieces into your workwear! I also love the fit of this skirt, as its tight around the waist and hips but loose and flowy throughout the rest. It’s very flattering and a can be worn a number of different ways. The skirt also comes in a number of colors so switching it up to seasons is easy!
