4 Spring Staples With Express

It is finally feeling like spring around here and it has brought around new energy. Energy that I needed to be honest. I was starting to lose motivation to find new trends and new ways to style winter wear. But with stores bringing new arrivals for the spring, I have been really enjoying finding ways to style spring’s hottest tends. Something I have been focusing more on is adding spring staples to my closet. Below are the ones I found at Express!

Neutral Blazer

It’s no secret I am always looking for a new blazer! I found this one at Express and I love fit of it. It’s a fitted blazer and the double buttons at the front are very flattering. The neutral color is light and goes perfectly with many different options. From work pants to casual shorts, this Express blazer is a great staple to reach for all spring.

Ripped Mom Jeans

I have been on the hunt for some good mom ripped jeans. I actually threw away most of my ripped jeans a couple years ago because I was barely wearing them. They aren’t work appropriate and I didn’t really wear them on the weekend. But now I am working from home, I have a lot more opportunity to wear things I didn’t before! I saw these ones and was excited to try them as Express has some of my favorite jeans. They are super high waisted and the jean material is soft and stretchy. I thought I was going to have to size up but instead I ended up going with my regular size.

White Long Cardigan

When I saw this white long cardigan on the Express website, I knew I needed it for working from home! It’s so cozy and the perfect length for wrapping myself up in it while sitting at my desk. I grabbed this easy ribbed dress to style underneath it for a quick get ready look. For the cardigan I went with my regular size (small) but it’s still a little bit over sized. If you don’t want oversized then I would size down one. The ribbed dress I went up a size to a (medium) so the dress wouldn’t be fitted too tight to my body.

Braided Slide Heels

Braided slide heels are EVERYWHERE… some are ranging in various prices. I loved these Express ones because they were a shorter height, they came in black (which is always a good staple color) and the price was reasonable! I haven’t worn them for long periods of time yet but I wore them to dinner the other night and they were pretty comfy/easy to walk in!

Do you have any bra suggestions for the high neck bodysuits? I would prefer something with straps but struggling to find options. Thank you!

Hi! I have these bra’s from Target that the straps detach on the back. I put the straps in a criss cross so they don’t show! I also love to wear sticky bra’s with the body suits as well. Not as supportive but then you dont have the bra showing in the back.
