Fourth of July Inspiration

White Jeans // Striped Top (only $28) // Michael Kors Wedges (ON SALE!!) // KS Necklace // Sunglasses // Michael Kors Purse

I thought I would do a post about my favorite Fourth of July inspired outfit since its only a week away. I am in love with these white pants and the navy striped top. The white pants are Articles of Society and probably the best pair of jeans I have ever found. They are so soft and fit perfectly. But how freaking cute is this top?? I love it and it goes with jeans or shorts! It is kinda long (and I am short)  so I ordered down a size. It can be super casual top or you can dress it up as well. The wedges are currently on sale at Nordstroms! I had been wanting a good pair to wear with jeans or a sun dress for some time and these worked perfectly. They aren’t super high so they are really easy to walk in too.

In Fayetteville, Arkansas for the weekend! Check back soon to see all the adventures I had.

One afternoon we took Casey for a walk down by the river. The sun was setting behind the mountains and it was so beautiful to watch. We let her off her leash to be able to run around before going back into her crate for the night (She is small but man is she fast). We were walking and this lady ran by us. We didn’t think anything of it until we saw Casey take off after her. I was laughing way to hard to catch up to her so Jeremy took off on a full sprint to stop her. The lady running stopped and was really sweet about the whole thing but I have never seen a puppy run so fast in my life. She is just way to cute to get mad at sometimes which makes punishing her really hard at times. Anyway, I have always known about the Botanic Park by the river but never been in it before so of course I dragged Jeremy and Casey to go see all the flowers (Jeremy was not as excited as I was). The tulips were so pretty! I just wanted to cut them off and take them home with me (Of course I didn’t but I still wanted too)!!

That was our last day before we went home for the week. It was sad to leave because of how relaxing it was up there. Casey was so good on the way home again. She slept more which was really helpful!

Jeremy and I decided to take the day off from Casey and go on a 6 mile hike up to my favorite water fall. It starts off with a huge waterfall at the bottom (first picture) and then you hike up a really steep part till it flattens out a bit. There is smaller waterfall half way from the bottom to the top and it is a great resting point. We decided to take a break and get some water because we had already been hiking for 2 hours. On the way up to the top Jeremy decided that he was going to go off rock climbing and ended up cutting himself up so we had to stop again. Finally when we were up at the top it was beautiful. We decided to sit on the rock by the waterfall and eat some lunch before we headed back down. All in all it took us about 4 hours to complete. I was completely exhausted by the time we got back (so out of shape ha) but it was so worth it. There is so much to see will hiking! It is a really popular place for locals to go hike during the summer. Plus you don’t have to do the full 6 miles, just hike as much as you can!
